Pere Ubu has such sweet sound. It can best be summed up by idiosyncratic yelling by the absolutely insane lead singer attempting to overcome the sweet guitar-work, but somehow avoids sounding irritatingly prolonged or being a jam band, as most of these type of albums unfortunately turn out.
